Post-rehabilitation Conditioning Program
This service is coming soon.
Palmetto Therapy Services will soon have a Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Program to provide physicians with improved patient outcomes and insure the continued progress of injured workers.
Once an injured worker has completed their prescribed physical therapy and/or work conditioning program physicians may refer patients to our Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Program. This program offers both the patient and the insurance provider a cost-effective resource to promote the continued success of each individual patient's rehabilitation, while significantly reducing the incidence of re-injury.
Injured workers are often discharged from physical therapy to enter gym memberships to continue their conditioning. Our program eliminates the pitfalls that patients experience through access to fitness facilities, which lack licensed physical therapists to design and oversee patient programming.
Patients that are referred to the Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Program will receive the following:
- Comprehensive Fitness and Health Assessments (optional).
- Diagnosis specific fitness program.
- Access to a full service, state-of-the-art fitness facility (including a complete line of strength and cardiovascular equipment).
- Convenient hours of operation.
- Conditioning programs designed and supervised by physical therapists, biomechanist, and exercise physiologists.
- Weekly program updates.
- Workout supervision.
- Access to therapy and training staff throughout their program.
Physicians and insurance providers will benefit from the following:
- Attendance Records
- Testing Results
- Periodic Progress Reports
- Significantly Reduced Costs
- Improved Outcomes
- Increased Patient Satisfaction
- Activity Tracking
Physician may refer a patient for admission to The Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Program by calling us or by indicating the program on a signed prescription.
Most workers compensation insurance cover this program, however patients can also be seen on a cash pay basis. Because industrial health policies differ, our accounting office can assist in verifying insurance coverage.
