Palmetto Therapy Services is proud to work with our local schools and athletes. Together with Hilton Head Christian Academy, we have put together an excellent Athletic Training program. Profile:

Matthew Syno MSEd, ATC oversees the high school outreach program to Hilton Head Christian Academy. After completing his undergraduate degrees and passing the national NATABOC exam, he began his career working in the work hardening program of a physical therapy clinic. He also worked part time as an athletic trainer at Eastern Guilford High School. He then went on to work at North Carolina A&T State University as the head of football and Men's basketball. Matt then went back to school at Old Dominion University as a Graduate Assistant. After graduating he began to work for a local physical therapy company in which he was the outreach coordinator. He worked with a professional soccer team in the area and the company also worked with the local professional hockey team. He continued to work part time teaching at Old Dominion University as well as Tidewater Community College. Matt now finds himself working on beautiful Hilton Head Island with Palmetto Therapy Services.

During the off season Matt likes to cook, work out and play games. He enjoys traveling and being involved in the local community activities.
